Motorized trolley for IPE profile 100/ 120/ 140/ 160 as well as MTS AS T
The carriage fits different kinds of T-beam profiles such as IP or IPE 100 to 160 or MTS AS T, ASS T10 or ASS T20.
Thanks to the integrated friction wheel drive on the underside of the rail, the carriage enables a horizontal mobility various lifting devices.
The trolley can be controlled via the DMX, infrared or radio remote control of the suspension device.
The carriage can be equipped with a collector for wireless energy and data supply, as well as a distance measurement via barcode scanner.
It can also be delivered without motor unit; customized adjustments can also be made at any time.
The carriages made by MTS – Media Technical System comply with the relevant safety regulations DGUV regulation 17 (formerly BGV C1, formerly VBG 70) and DIN 56950-2 (formerly DIN 15560).
Technical information:
The carriage is ideally suited for the horizontal position adjustment of telescopes, pantographs, scenery hoists and more. It consists of a black painted steel housing with integrated 3-phase asynchronous 230 V, 50 Hz, IP 64 protection, speed 1,340 rpm, and an attached spur gear. The integrated aluminum wheel with vulcanised tread allows precise horizontal movement. Integrated smooth-running rollers for moving the carriage in the system rails. The castors consist of an extruded aluminum profile with 4 ball-bearing special rollers and 2 transverse guide ball bearings. The result is a light and easy movement of the rolley.
A particular advantage of the MTS carriage is the ability to fold down a side panel. Thanks to this, the insertion and removal of the carriage at any point of the rail is possible. It is thus possible to selectively remove individual lifting devices from an existing system or place new devices on them – without having to clear the entire rail length beforehand. This saves valuable time during installation and possible repair work.
Each carriage has a payload of 120 kg. All motorized MTS telescopes, pantographs and scenery hoists are prepared for mounting on the carriage. MTS hoists can be attached to the carriage in a specially strong version (payload 250 kg). The drive is via a friction wheel whose contact pressure is adjustable.
